・見出しー上川外務大臣は、訪問先のニューヨークで、核実験を全面的に禁じるCTBT＝包括的核実験禁止条約の発効を目指す各国の外相会合に出席し、北朝鮮による核実験の可能性もある中、発効は国際社会の喫緊の課題だと訴えました。核実験を全面的に禁じるCTBTは、日本を含む１７８の国が批准していますが、アメリカや中国、イランなどが批准せず、発効していません。
そして、会合では、批准していない国への呼びかけや北朝鮮の完全な非核化の重要性などを盛り込んだ宣言を採択しました。

Kamikawa delivered a speech at the conference of foreign ministers on facilitating the CTBT's entry into force at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Friday.
The treaty has been ratified by 178 states, but has not come into effect because the United States, China, Iran and other countries have not ratified it.
