・見出しー米中間選挙、ジョージア州の上院選、民主党現職が当選確実
・リード―先月に行われたアメリカの中間選挙で勝負がきまらず、６日、決選投票が行われた南部ジョージア州の上院議員選挙で、民主党の候補が当選確実となりました。
アメリカからの報道によりますと、民主党の現職、ワーノック氏が当選を確実にしました。トランプ前大統領からの支持を受けた共和党候補でアメリカンフットボールの元スター選手、ウォーカー氏は敗れることになりました。
これによって上院では１００議席すべてが決まり、与党・民主党が５１議席、野党・共和党が４９議席を獲得することになりました。
また、議会下院もすべての議席の結果が判明し、共和党が２２２議席、民主党が２１３議席を獲得することが確実になりました。

Warnock's win will give the Democrats a 51-49 Senate majority.
