・リードー韓国軍は、北朝鮮が５日、短距離弾道ミサイル８発を発射したのに対抗して、６日朝、アメリカ軍とともに、同じく８発の地対地ミサイルを日本海に向けて発射し、核・ミサイル開発を加速する北朝鮮を強くけん制しました。
韓国軍は５日午前、北朝鮮が首都ピョンヤン郊外のスナン(順安)など４か所から日本海に向けて、３０分あまりにわたって、短距離弾道ミサイル合わせて８発を発射したと明らかにしました。
韓国の通信社、連合ニュースによりますと、これに対抗して、韓国軍はアメリカ軍とともに、６日午前４時４５分ごろからおよそ１０分間、北朝鮮が発射したのと同じ８発の、地対地ミサイル「ATACMS
(エイタクムス)」を発射しました。
内訳は、韓国軍が７発、アメリカ軍が１発だということで、韓国軍は「北がさまざまな場所からミサイルで挑発しても、常に監視体制を維持し、発射地点などを直ちに精密攻撃する能力を備えていることを示した」として、核・ミサイル開発を加速する北朝鮮を強くけん制しました。
米韓両軍は、北朝鮮が先月２５日にICBM＝大陸間弾道ミサイル級と推定される弾道ミサイルなど３発を発射した直後にも、地対地ミサイル２発を発射していて、北朝鮮が７回目の核実験に踏み切る可能性も含め警戒と監視を続けています。

・リードーSouth Korea and the United States have fired eight ground--to-ground missiles toward the Sea of Japan in response to North Korea's missiles a day earlier.
South Korea's military said on Sunday that North Korea fired a total of eight short-range ballistic missiles from four locations, including from Sunan near Pyongyang, toward the east over a period of more than 30 minutes.
The US Indo-Pacific Command announced in a statement that seven of the missiles were fired by South Korea and one by US forces.
It said the alliance between South Korea and the United States remains committed to peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and throughout the Indo-Pacific. It added that the US commitment to the defense of South Korea "remains ironclad."
