・リードー３年後の２０２５年に行われる陸上の世界選手兼について、国際競技団体の世界陸上競技連盟は、東京で開催することを決めました。日本で開催されるのは１９９１年の東京、２００７年の大坂に続いて３回目です。
これは、アメリカのオレゴン州で１４日に開かれた世界陸連の理事会で決まりました。
日本陸上競技連盟は２０２５年の世界選手権を招致しようと東京オリンピック・パラリンピックのメイン・スタジアムとして使われた国立競技場での開催を提案し、去年立候補していました。

Championships. It will be Japan's third time hosting the event.
The decision was made at the council's meeting in the US state of Orgon on Thursday.
The Japanese Association of Athletics Federation submitted a bid last year. The National Stadium in Tokyo will be used for the event. It was used as the main stadium for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
